■ What is UR and the merit of UR

UR is the familiar name of Urban Renaissance Agency, independent administrative corporation made by government. The origin started at 1955 as Nihon Jyutaku Kodan/Japan Public House. After 50 years, they have now mainly 3 missions. Renaissance of urban area, Maintain of public property, Assistance and coverage of disaster moment. They maintain 770,000 houses in all over in Japan and 450,000 houses in Tokyo area and provide well maintained, reasonable house for all residence including foreigners staying in Japan.

The merit of choosing UR:

1. Cost merit

From a view of point of the mission of UR, it does not ask you extra cost than 3months deposit basically.

It means no key money and no agent fee is available. Also, the deposit will refund very well with miscellaneous charge for cleaning.

2. Flexibility

To considering the private rent in common, you might be asked to sign you have to tell 1-2 months before your leaving. But for the especially for the global standard of business person in these dog years, UR ask you only 15days before notice is sufficient.

3. Guarantor

To considering the private rent and general Japanese style real estate custom, you might be asked to register somebody Japanese guarantor. UR does not ask you any of them.

■How to use UR

1. Please decide your requirement first.

2. You can tell us the requirement or you can go to UR center direct.

3. We have to find available house on the data base under your requirement.

4. We have to book the house for looking inside.

5. In 2 weeks, if you decide the house, you can have agreement.

6. At the agreement day, you can decide your moving day.
