FAQ's about accommodation in Tokyo:
How much does it cost for short-term housing
in Tokyo?
Furnished, short-term housing in a central Tokyo location will usually
run from about
200,000 yen/month with everything included except charges for actual
phone use.
How much for a studio apartment in Tokyo?
You can get a comfortable fully equipped studio for for as low as
180,000 yen per month.
Is it much more expensive to have a bedroom?
For an apartment with a separate bedroom, you will need to budget
between 380,000 yen and 460,000 yen. We have seasonal campaigns
however that feature huge savings.
What is included in the rent?
On the apartments I currently handle, these rates include:
- Cable TV
- housekeeping/linen service
- 24-hour English/Japanese service hotline
- full furnishings including large beds
- en-suite washer/dryer
- new appliances and kitchen utensils
- 24 hour high-speed internet access, phone/fax, etc.
Do all the apartments have the same amenities?
No not all of them. One of the buildings for example, Bureau
Shinagawa, also includes use of the private restaurant, fitness
space, Japanese bath/sauna, concierge service, meeting rooms (hourly
charge), etc.
How do I make an application?

inquiry, I will respond as soon as I can with a few ideas for your
consideration.
Do you accept only corporate contracts?
Our housing provider, Space Design accepts both corporate and individual
contracts although the required paperwork is a bit different.
Is there any money to pay up front?
There is usually a security deposit (fully refundable) on contracts.
About 100,000 yen for contracts of up to three months and one months'
security deposit for longer contracts.
Do you offer reduced rates for long term
rentals?
There are also discounts for longer stays and great flexibility
possible depending on season and the situation in the particular
building.
