Toranomon/Shimbashi/Kamiyacho
Area
Toranomon, Shimbashi and Kamiyacho are synonymous
with the legal, consulting and financial side of Tokyo. Although
Hyundai, OSK and KPMG are also based nearby, you can almost sense
all the advice flying through the air as you walk among these
buildings. Lunch break choices include wonderful teppanyaki at
Japan's famous Hotel Okura or a relaxing stroll/jog to Hibiya
Park and the Imperial palace grounds about 15 minutes away. Even
the famously noisy and unkempt Pachinko Parlors cater to this
particular crowd with chic designs and subdued lighting. You can
also find Tokyo's most delicious "Dry Curry" at a restaurant
called "Alaska" inside the Hibiya City shopping mall.
