Osaki/Gotanda
Area
The Rinkai line that accesses Shinagawa Seaside
and Tennozu Aisle stations has a new stop at JR Osaki station.
This provides wonderful access to Tokyo's famed Odaiba area. Recently
built next to Tokyo Bay, Odaiba features one of the worlds largest
merry-go-rounds, a shopping mall called Venus Port which reminded
me a lot of the Venetian in Las Vegas, Japan's Ariake Internation
Tennis stadium where you can catch a game yourself or watch a
pro tennis match at big WTA events like the Toyota Princess Cup,
etc., and much more. Osaki and Gotanda themselves are famous for
great Korean barbeque restaurants and sought-after Chinese noodle
shops. You can even get a hair cut in the station for 1000 yen
(about USD 10) in under 10 minutes.
